Salwick
The station at Salwick between Preston and Kirkham has recently been refurbished whilst electrification work was taking place. A brand new waiting shelter has been erected closed in on three sides. One does hope that the icy north wind doesn't blow too often whilst passengers await their train since the shelter has no protection from that direction at all! The train is from Blackpool South to Preston, however like most, it just rushes past and doesn't stop.
