Salwick
Northern Rail Adelante unit 180103 passes Salwick (No.2) signal box, immediately east of Salwick station, on a Blackpool North to Manchester Victoria service. Approaching from the east is 158752 running from York to Blackpool. Salwick is a 'fringe box' for Preston signalling centre and retains an emergency crossover and a disused siding alongside the Springfields nuclear fuel plant, part of which can be seen above the train.
