Gilmerton
The latest stretch of the Rosslyn Chapel Trail (Glencorse branch, to you and me) takes it through Gilmerton station. Nothing to see at platform level, but the station house is visible through the trees in this view, looking south west. The station was rather isolated when it closed in 1930, but the village had grown southwards since, with the latest housing being built across the road. If only they could have foreseen this 88 years ago ...
