Gilmerton
Scene on the Edinburgh, Loanhead and Roslin route approximately 2 miles south west of Millerhill Yard on 2 March 2011. The trackbed here is now clear with recently lifted rails lying alongside. Behind the camera two teams are currently engaged in the recovery of concrete sleepers. View is east from a farm overbridge looking towards the site of the former Gilmerton station. See image 36048
