Alexisbad
HSB 99 6001 departing Alexisbad with the 11:46 train to Gernrode on 19 September 2017. It had just arrived with the 10:30 train from Quedlinburg. This locomotive was built by the Krupp Corporation of Essen in 1939 and was the prototype for an entire class ordered by the Nordhausen-Wernigerode-Eisenbahn. However, the outbreak of the Second World War meant that only this one was built.
