Harzer Schmalspur-bahnen Diesel railcar 187 013 was built by Thalboot-Ahrend for the Kreis-Altonaer-Eisenbahn then sold to the Inselbahn-Langeoog. It was acquired by the HSB in 1995 and went into service the following year after a complete overhaul. The service between Alexisbad and Eisfelder Talmühle is mostly operated by Diesel railcars.
