Manchester Liverpool Road

After fourteen years as a passenger station Liverpool Road was replaced by Manchester Victoria but continued in use as a Goods Depot until 1975. Many of the freight facilities can still be seen in its new role as part of the Museum of Science and Industry. This view taken from the main museum building in October 2017 shows the old sidings, the passenger station where the lines converge and the Power Hall on the left where the railway exhibits are housed.
