Summerseat
Immaculate Drewry Class 04 D2298, operating a train at the ELR Small Engines Gala, seen at Summerseat in June 2017. The inset picture shows the previous time I had seen the loco, at Dunnington on 6th January 1973, when it hauled a railtour to the Derwent Valley Light Ralway near York. The tour from Manchester ran along the DVLR in near darkness due to a loco failure near Wakefield. Sister loco DVLR No.2 (D2245) shared the haulage on the light railway section.
