The cross station walkway at Waverley seen from the south entrance on Market Street during the morning of Friday 24 March 2017. The former North British Hotel (nowadays the Balmoral) overlooks the scene from its position on Princes Street alongside Waverley Steps (now also equipped with escalators) on the north side of the station.
