St Albans Abbey
A depressing start to the New Year at St Albans Abbey station on 2nd January 1976. Before the DMU leaves for Watford Junction, the driver is being asked when it will return as there was no information on the station. It would have been a good day to place a large bet on there being a very long hot summer ahead that would break all records.
