Brechin
View towards the junction at Brechin station from the former lines to Edzell and Forfar in 1996. The line in the foreground was double track but the left hand track was from Edzell and the right hand from Forfar. Until the 1930s the lines could be used as double track until the closure of Brechin North Junction box. The track of the preserved Caledonian Railway, the former Aberdeen Railway branch to Brechin, can be seen in the background.
