Haigh

A late afternoon view of the new bridge over Haigh Lane shortly after the heavy lift transporter has been removed, but before backfilling of the removed embankment areas has commenced. The removal of the old bridge and installing of the new bridge had only taken 17 of the 52 hours line possession. Unfortunately I was unable to get down to see how work progressed on the Sunday. See image 28863 for a view of the old arch bridge and its more limited clearance compared to the new bridge.
