Looking west from Water Street with viaducts converging as they cross the River Irwell. On the right is the L&M line which lead into Liverpool Road station and to the left is the line from Castelfield Jct to Ordsall Jct. The new Ordsall curve will sweep right from the viaduct on the left and through the L&M viaduct.
