Dillicar Watertroughs
Black 5s 44871 and 45407 head the return Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express railtour south through the Lune Gorge on 23 January 2016. This was supposed to have been the inaugural mainline working of Flying Scotsman but a few jobs are still to be completed before the loco is ready and the IR Black 5s were substituted. IR in this case is Ian Riley not International Rescue although the Black 5s do perform an admirable Thunderbird role.
