Dillicar Watertroughs

The Lune Gorge, with a Virgin Super Voyager heading north on a Euston to Glasgow (via Birmingham) service on 5 September. The train is passing Dillicar Common, although the famous Dillicar water troughs were some way north of this point. The M6, running on two levels, is close by the line here and the Tebay to Kendal road can be seen climbing across the hillside.
