Glasson Dock
The still active Glasson Dock, seen from the swing bridge above the Lancaster Canal Basin lock in March 2016. The tracks of the Glasson branch continued beyond the station down the right hand quay and also behind the buildings on the right See image 66272 for a map from that period. On the left of the picture the blue vessel being loaded is the MV Silver River, which operates a daily general cargo service between Glasson and Ramsey in the Isle of Man.
