Portbou
A line of four Renfe MercancÃas operated Bombardier Traxx 3KV DC Bo-Bo electric freight locos stand alongside Portbou station in August 2015, with dirty 253-082 and immaculate 253-095 the nearest pair. These locos were built to operate on the wider 1668mm gauge lines in Spain, unlike the Traxx locos of other operators which are all for standard 1435mm gauge operation. The interchange yard with SNCF is to right of view.
