The return of loco hauled trains to the Cumbrian Coast is great news for enthusiasts but the limited clearances on the line north of Maryport mean that the two rakes of MkII stock in use have had to be fitted with bars over the droplights, just like the Derby DMUs that worked the line before the Sprinters.
