Merrygill Viaduct

Looking East along the Stainmore line towards Darlington at Merrygill in May 2014. The viaduct and PW hut (containing interesting photographs and maps) are substantially complete and the remains of the signalbox make a useful flowerbed. This part of the line is a footpath or cyclepath, about 2 miles long, starting at Kirkby Stephen East. [Ref query 6556]
