Strand Road Level Crossing
The morning commuter traffic is briefly halted on 27 August as DBS 60010 sets off across Strand Road in Preston with the bitumen empties returning to Lindsey refinery. A short distance beyond the crossing lies Fishergate Tunnel and the 1:29 climb back to the main line near Preston station.
