Leicester Abbey Pumping Station

This electric crane may look quite conventional, but it runs on an 11 foot gauge track. Power is supplied from a generator through a extension lead, which is wound on and off a reel as the crane moves fore and aft. You couldnt make that up. As for the background, they do seem to have trouble with wasps in Leicester. see image 47833 for a more sensible explanation.
