Darlington Locomotive Works
A gleaming B16 4-6-0 no 61434 in the sidings alongside Darlington Works, thought to have been photographed in January 1962. The locomotive would soon return to its home depot at York, where it was based throughout the BR period until its eventual withdrawal in June 1964.
