Bournemouth Cliff Lifts
Westcliff lift at Bournemouth is one of three operated by the council. Although known as Cliff Lifts they are actually funicular light railways. The Westcliff lift rises 145 feet on a gradient of 1:1.42 and dates from August 1908.
