A colourful MOB metre gauge electric 6001 pauses at Les Avants with a northbound Goldenpass service from Montreux. On departure it will immediately enter a long tunnel. In the area between the cabs of these locos a sliding door gives access to a baggage/cycle holding area. The roof of the Sonloup Funicular lower station, accessible from the station platform, is just visible between the pantographs of 6001 See image 45122
