Loch Park Siding

The view north from Wellogate Brae, Hawick, in November 2013 - much changed since the days of the railway. The trackbed has been obliterated at this point, although buildings of the former Loch Park PW depot still survive on the right as industrial units. The tenements that stood on the left along the east side of Garfield Street have gone, with much of the area beyond the trees now given over to car parking. For the view more than fifty years earlier see image 19716.
