Edinburgh Waverley
A touch of glass. View over Waverley towards Princes Street on 7 July 2013. Dominating the scene is a section of the recently reglazed station roof. In the foreground is the transformed Market Street entrance with work continuing on new access and replacement canopies for 'sub' platforms 8 & 9. In the background, immediately to the left of the Balmoral Hotel, is part of the glass roof covering Waverley Steps, with passenger lifts now operating alongside.
