Kirkby
Looking north east from the buffers at Kirkby as 142031 waits to return to Manchester Victoria on 11 March 2013. This used to be a through route from Wigan Wallgate to Liverpool Exchange but today the line is split with the Merseyrail platform behind the photographer and Kirkby is now an end on - but unconnected - interchange.
