Rosslyn Castle
Close up of the former yard at Rosslyn Castle looking south west in March 2013, with the Penicuik branch veering away to the left. The yard once handled materials from a nearby explosives factory located a short distance to the west alongside the North Esk, with trans-shipment facilities reached via a long siding running on the far side of the mound centre left. The remains of Rosslyn Castle station stand just behind the camera.
