Rosslyn Castle

In the summer of 1967, dismantling of the Penicuik branch had reached the east
side of Rosslyn Castle station. The station is at the bridge in the middle distance. The red gas cylinder marks the end of the rails, which very strangely were still quite shiny. This was possibly due to the dry sunny weather and the recent passage of a recovery train.
