Solway Viaduct
Both embankments of the Solway Viaduct, and the one mile gap that separates them, can be seen in this picture looking from Bowness in England across to Annan in Scotland. Evidence of the tidal range of the Solway Firth can also be seen. From the road behind the camera the long closed Bowness station can also still be seen See image 42010
