Campbeltown

At the foot of the bank in Campbeltown the C&MLR trains emerged from the cutting onto the foreshore and turned left towards the harbour. See image 37847. This tarmac footpath follows the line of the narrow gauge track across the green but, as with the other surviving bits of the railway, no mention is made of its origins and why the path follows the route that it does. An information board in this area would be very useful for the uninitiated.
