Chinley
You can almost hear the crackle of the Sulzer exhaust as BR Type 2 No. 5274 toils up to Chinley station with empty ICI hoppers from Winnington (Northwich) bound for the limestone workings at Tunstead in 1971. This loco was one of the original batch sent new to Trafford Park shed (9E) in the summer of 1964 specifically for these duties.
