Walton-on-the-Naze

Seaside trippers await their train home at Walton-on-the-Naze station on a warm and sunny 3rd June 1978. Platform 2 is occupied by a stabled Class 302 emu, some way away from its usual haunt on the Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness line. This platform ceased to be used from May 1982 leaving number 1 for all traffic.
