Several stations on the former 'back road' from Macclesfield see image 39173 to Marple via Bollington are now informal picnic areas. This view looks North-West through one of the many bridges which had to be strengthened with an additional central support. The bushes on the left are close to the divergence of a former colliery tramroad.
