Riccarton Junction

With Arnton Fell as a backdrop, a 'Peak' at the head of The Waverley battles north up the 1 in 75 towards Riccarton Junction in the summer of 1963. The following year this ceased to be a complete through train, with just two coaches from St Pancras to Edinburgh (running as part of The Thames-Clyde Express as far as Carlisle).
