Hawick [2nd]
The 12.25 Saturday only service to Carlisle stands ready to leave Hawick in the summer of 1960. In charge is no 62712 Morayshire. The D49 had arrived at Hawick shed from Thornton Junction in April 1960 and remained there until withdrawal by BR in July 1961. The locomotive is now preserved at SRPS Boness see image 20899.
