Mirandela

The narrow gauge Tua line followed the river of that name for some 84 miles to Braganca. Mirandela was the main intermediate point where engines were changed and the station had restaurant facilities, The old station is seen here, after its replacement by a transport interchange See image 37824, from a railbus standing in the new platforms waiting to depart for Tua, 34 miles and two hours away, on the now closed line.
