Jubilee 45605 Cyprus makes an unusual sight standing at platform 4 of Newcastle Central on 23 June 1962. The Holbeck locomotive had worked in on the 9.30am from Manchester Exchange. After a brief visit to Gateshead shed, the Jubilee returned south later the same day with the summer Saturday 1.00pm Craigendoran - Leicester (London Road).
