Manchester Liverpool Road
Gorton built EM2 Co-Co electric E27001 has been preserved at the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry since withdrawal by Netherlands State Railways in 1986. It carries its NS livery but also has its BR Ariadne nameplate from its days as E27001 on Manchester-Sheffield Woodhead route duties. See image 22507
