Kentish Town

Ex-Midland 0-6-0 no 58131 photographed on Kentish Town shed, north London, towards the end of its working life. The locomotive had been built by Dubs & Co at their Queens Park works in Glasgow during the last quarter of the 19th century. (Dubs became part of the newly formed North British Locomotive Co in 1903 - then the largest locomotive builder in Europe.) No 58131 was withdrawn from Kentish Town in February 1961 and cut up at Derby Works later that year.
