A wealth of home signals covering the loop section of the Margam line beyond Tondu station junction as seen from the station footbridge in September 2011. The former Margam bound platform face can still be seen on the left. This line has seen extensive week-end freight use over winter 2011-12 to allow steel services to bypass track works taking place between Margam and Bridgend
