Lowestoft
The heavily-rationalised interior of Lowestoft (Central, as was) station is not a place to fill one with confidence that we are living in the age of the train, but the external façade provides a delightful surprise, as this 17th June 2011 shot demonstrates. Is this the oldest extant station name sign on any British station?
