A4 Pacific no 60024 Kingfisher taking water at Newcastle Central on 21 May 1966 with the A4 Preservation Society 'East Coast Ltd'. The special, which had originated from Doncaster, ran to Edinburgh Waverley and back via the ECML with no 60024 in charge throughout.
