Black 5 no 45459 with a northbound freight has just passed Lugton's colour light down distant signal on Saturday 22 August 1959. The road bridge in the background carries the A735. The locomotive survived for almost another 5 years, being eventually withdrawn from Hurlford shed in May 1964.
