46229 'Duchess of Hamilton' accelerates out of the reverse curves shortly after clearing the eastern portal of Standedge Tunnel on 11 November 1980. The special will shortly pass through Marsden Station on its way from Liverpool to York to mark the 150th anniversary of 'mail by rail'.
