Edinburgh Waverley
A CrossCountry service to Penzance preparing to leave Waverley on 21 April 2011. The old 'sub' platforms (currently numbered 8 & 9) outside the main train shed see more use than ever these days. At the other end of platform 9 (behind the camera) a First TransPennine train is boarding for Manchester Airport, while platform 8 over to the right is occupied by an East Coast departure for London Kings Cross.
