Wallyford

It does seem a little carbon-inefficient that many long-distance diesel services spend most of their time travelling under wires.  However, unless somebody is working on a combined diesel and OHW electric train, or there is a sudden mass electrification programme nothing is likely to change anytime soon.  Saving on the electricity bills at least (if that's how it works) 43 319 with the Up Highland Chieftain whiney-roars through Wallyford at speed on 13 November.
