Lydney

Lydney was originally known as Lydney Junction (for the Dean Forest Railway) and was built on a broad gauge railway as evidenced by the distance between the platforms. The Dean Forest preserved line terminus is close to the mainline station. This view, past the signalbox that still controls the level crossing, looks towards Chepstow.
