Dalry Junction [Edinburgh]

Looking north east towards Dalry Junction along the CR trackbed towards Princes Street in 2010 see image 29621. There is still a junction here, now used by vehicles on Edinburgh's West Approach Road. The car is on the Caledonian 'main line' and has passed below the bridge carrying Dundee Street and the surviving footbridge to Dundee Terrace. The red van in the background is about to bear (to its) right and join the 'branch' that will take it across Dalry Road and along the former Caledonian route to Haymarket West Junction. And finally... just to keep the railway theme going, the 34 bus is showing 'Riccarton' on the destination panel! (No, not that one...)
