Calder Grove

56090 makes a smoky exit as it climbs away from the British Oak Disposal Point exchange sidings at Calder Grove on 17 February 1993 and heads towards Wakefield. As of Feb 2021 56090 is now an operational Colas owned loco. The Procor wagon building site seen upper left is no longer a rail industry facility after being vacated by last occupier Bombardier, and the section of the M1 running across the upper part of the view is a four lane running Smart Motorway.
